Staffline are hiring! Vacancy - Quality Manager
Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 6am-4pm
Salary: up to £41,000 D.O.E
Our ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Quality Management systems, with knowledge of ISO9001/IATF16949/AS9100, and experience of metal finishing processes.
In your role as Quality Manager:
- You will be responsible for quality management on the shop floor.
- Internal auditing.
- Maintenance of QMS.
- To provide support and guidance in relation to quality management and assurance for site.
- Ensuring continuous site quality conformity in relation to the products processes.
- To ensure site complies with the requirements of ISO9001/IATF16949/AS9100 Quality management systems, ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems, along with any customer specific requirements specified.
- Arranging and management of external audit activity for customers.
- Managing the Quality Department – maintaining HR files, new starter inductions & including training.
- Supervising quality inspectors.
- Arranging and controlling internal & external equipment calibration.
- Maintenance of controlled documentation, including FMEA, Control Plans, SOPs & care points.
- Managing APQP activities, including producing PPAPs when required.
To be considered for the role of Quality Manager:
- Experience in a similar management role.
- Experience of metal finishing processes.
- Familiarisation with core tools: FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA and SPC.
- Able to work under pressure and use initiative to get tasks completed.
- Ability to communicate well.
- Ability to execute internal audit activity.
- Current driving licence holder.
- IATF16949/AS9100 Lead Auditor qualifications.
