Fitters Mate - MUST DRIVE AND HAVE OWN TRANSPORT

Pay: £12.71 p/h

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

Job Type: Temporary - likely duration of a 1-2 months work however could result in permanent role for the right candidate.

Location: Various residential sites, all within 10 miles of Huddersfield.

The Job Stafflex are currently recruiting for a Fitters Mate to join our client's busy team on a temporary basis, with an initial expected duration of 1-2 months. This is a hands-on role supporting experienced fitters and tradesmen on a variety of projects. There is potential for the position to become permanent for a reliable and hardworking candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Duties

  • Assisting the fitters and tradesmen
  • Mainly excavating (ripping out old furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.)
  • Moving of material / power tools
  • Use of hand held / power tools
  • Heavy lifting / physical work

Requirements

  • ALL applicants MUST hold a valid Full UK driver's license and have their own transport!
  • Previous construction / labouring / DIY / landscaping experience preferred.
  • Those applying without their own transport will be rejected.
