Counterbalance and Reach FLT driver
Pay: £14p/h
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7AM - 5PM Friday 7AM - 3.PM
Location: Huddersfield
Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing, minimum 3 months. Can lead to full time permanent job.
Stafflex are actively recruiting for an FLT Driver to join our client, a well-established UK-based formulation plant with over 30 years' experience in the manufacture of chemicals and plant protection products.
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated individual who is comfortable with physical work and holds a valid FLT licence.
Duties:
- Move stock efficiently between warehouse and production areas to support daily requirements.
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Manage stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
- Prepare pallets for storage and despatch, including wrapping and labelling.
- Keep the warehouse and surrounding areas clean, tidy and safe.
- Follow company procedures, health & safety requirements and relevant legislation.
- Carry out routine checks to ensure warehouse equipment is safe and fit for use.
- Provide general support to the management team when required.
- Assist with other reasonable warehouse duties as needed.
Essential qualities:
- Counterbalance and Reach FLT License - valid and in date.
- Candidates should be flexible, have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a positive attitude towards work and learning.
