Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 3:30pm (Overtime currently available, flexibility to work up to 12-hour shifts is required)

Stafflex are currently recruiting for a production operative to join a busy logistics and manufacturing operation in Halifax. This is a hands-on role that is split between forklift and warehouse duties. We're looking for someone reliable, flexible and happy to get involved across the logistics operation.
Duties include:
- Operating machines safely and efficiently
- Moving work in progress and materials around site
- Supplying production lines with materials and packaging
- Packing finished goods ready for despatch, including wrapping and labelling
- Loading finished goods onto vehicles for despatch
- Maintaining a high standard of warehouse housekeeping
- Supporting colleagues and working as part of a wider team
- Working independently when required
- Assisting with training and becoming multi-skilled across the department
Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehousing/logistics environments
- Willingness to work overtime and 12-hour shifts when required
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- A driving license and access to transport is highly desirable due to the location and shift times
