Salary: £12.21p/h

Hours: Wednesday – Saturday 6am – 7pm (Training will be Mon – Fri 8am – 4.30pm and max of 2 weeks)

Location: Grange Moor, WF4

Duration: Temporary – Permanent

We\’re currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatch Operative to join our clients dynamic team and play a vital role in getting goods out the door and into customers\’ hands – fast and flawlessly!

Responsibilities

• Basic component knowledge and computer skills are required – processing customer orders.
• Accurate picking and scanning of products using our in-house system.
• Pack customer orders to a high standard ensuring relevant documents are attached where necessary.
• Visual quality check of systems before dispatching to ensure perfect condition.
• Sort parcels into the correct courier locations.
• Palletise bulk orders and specialised computers.
• Load orders onto wagons at end of day following the courier scan process.
• Achieve set daily dispatch targets.
• Liaise with Call Centre and Accounts team to swiftly deal with issues preventing dispatch (Windows Teams).
• Reporting directly to Dispatch supervisor.
• Verbal and written communication.

Requirements:

• Good eye for detail.
• Successful candidate must be able to get to WF4 for 6am start (limited bus routes).
• Previous experience in a dispatch role or working within a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential.
