Stafflex are proudly working with a successful Huddersfield-based manufacturer for a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join their team. Your primary role will involve working with machinery and ensuring quality standards are met to meet production demands. While CNC experience is beneficial, it is not essential. Candidates with solid machine operating experience and a willingness to learn will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate machinery to assist in production processes and final inspection.
- Accurately input and verify part numbers.
- Perform routine quality checks to maintain high production standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Work closely with the team to meet deadlines and targets.
- Previous experience in machine operation (CNC experience is a plus but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to concentrate on repetitive tasks.
- A proactive and eager-to-learn mind-set.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Regular daytime shifts.
