Business Development Executive

Location: Huddersfield

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Pay Rate: £24K – £29K P/A + £6.5K P/A car allowance + Commission

Start Date: ASAP

Are you a driven, ambitious salesperson who thrives in a new business environment? Do you have at least 18 months of field sales experience and the relentless attitude needed to build up a sales pipeline?

Stafflex are proudly working with a service orientated, environmentally-conscious, Huddersfield-based business.

We\’re looking for a Business Development Executive to join a well-established business with a strong foothold in the North. This is a pure hunter role – we are looking for a candidate who is proactive, resilient, and ready to go out and win business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating new business through outbound calls, networking, LinkedIn and face-to-face meetings.
  • Booking and attending appointments to showcase the company\’s solutions.
  • Cold calling and foot canvassing – knocking on doors to make things happen.
  • Building long-term relationships with potential clients by understanding their needs.
  • Managing your pipeline using a cloud-based CRM system.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 months of B2B sales experience – ideally field based.
  • A resilient attitude – someone who\’s not afraid of rejection.
  • A proactive self-starting mind-set, to push yourself without needing to be micromanaged.
  • A consultative approach to sales. The ability to listen, advise, and build trust with clients.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • Good problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A full UK driving license and access to own transportation.
