The Role:
- Provide high-quality care, learning, and play opportunities for children aged 0-5 years
- Support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters curiosity and learning
- Assist with daily routines, including feeding, changing, and nap times
- Encourage language, social, and motor skill development through creative play and activities
- Work collaboratively with permanent staff and parents to support each child's individual needs
- Maintain a high standard of safeguarding and follow nursery policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of EYFS Framework and child development
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A caring and patient approach to working with young children
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
