Production / Machine Operative

Location: Huddersfield

Pay: £12.21p/h

Duration: 12 week Temporary - Permanent

Hours of work: 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm, rotating weekly.

Role Responsibilities

  • Operating and monitoring production line machinery
  • Manufacturing food packaging products to strict quality standards
  • Carrying out quality checks and reporting any faults or issues
  • Following GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), food safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards using 'clean as you go' practices
  • Ensuring production areas remain clean, safe, and audit-ready
  • Working closely with logistics and production teams to keep operations running efficiently

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Food manufacturing or packaging experience would be advantageous
  • Good understanding of hygiene standards and factory procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
