Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £32,000 - £37,500 P/A Depending on Experience

Stafflex are proudly working with a well-established and people-focused organisation based in Huddersfield, known for its innovation in customer engagement and loyalty solutions. Our client are looking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to join their growing Business Delivery team. This is a newly created role designed to bridge the gap between procurement and dispatch.
This office based role is ideal for someone who may have come from an SME and thrives on solving problems, streamlining processes, and creating a positive team culture. We are not just looking for technical ability, but someone who’s genuinely supportive, value-driven, and enjoys working with people.
In this role, you will lead and develop the logistics and procurement functions, reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain. You’ll be responsible for managing a small team, refining supply chain processes, reviewing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and improve logistics processes to drive efficiency
- Monitor and manage stock levels, focusing on printed stock and third-party delivery
- Resolve issues effectively and act as a key point of escalation
- Drive operational improvements in collaboration with other teams
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms in line with compliance standards
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and service
- Maintain accurate and up to date supplier documentation
- Manage a team of six, including a junior procurement assistant
- Conduct 1-1's and lead performance reviews, supporting professional development
- Champion a positive and inclusive team culture
- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
- Support strategic procurement planning and ISO compliance
- Proven experience in logistics, procurement or supply chain management
- Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills
- Hands on, practical mind-set with excellent problem-solving ability
- Experience working in a small to medium business environment
- Familiarity with salesforce would be a bonus
