Despatch Co-Ordinator

Despatch Coordinator Location: Huddersfield Hours: Monday – Thursday 07:45 – 16:15, Friday 07:45 – 12:45 ; 37 hours a week. Salary: £12.36 – £13.00 p/h (Competitive, dependent on experience) Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in despatch, import, and export operations? We are recruiting for a Despatch Coordinator to join a dynamic team within a well-established manufacturing business. As a Despatch Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of goods in and out of the business. This is a varied role that combines shop floor and office-based duties, requiring excellent coordination skills and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Booking carriers and arranging transport for outgoing goods Creating purchase orders and managing shipping documentation Coordinating the import and export of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations Preparing commercial invoices, handling commodity codes, and applying Incoterms Communicating with freight forwarders and suppliers to manage logistics efficientlyKey Requirements: Experience in import and export operations is essential Strong knowledge of commercial invoices, commodity codes, and Incoterms Previous experience in a despatch, logistics, or supply chain role Organised, proactive, and able to work across shop floor and office environments Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with different teamsWhat's on Offer?
