Stafflex are recruiting for a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to support a busy and detail-driven operation. This role sits closely in support of the Operations Manager and plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day warehouse activities. This is a role that will involve leading from the front, working across all areas of the warehouse and setting the standard for accuracy, organisation and teamwork. The business operates in a sector where precision is key. Attention to detail and a sense of responsibility are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and support a small warehouse team to achieve daily targets
- Work across all areas including goods-in, picking, packing and despatch
- Allocating tasks and monitoring workflow to maintain efficiency and accuracy
- Operating Counterbalance Forklift Truck when required
- Maintaining accurate stock control using internal systems
- Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies and errors
- Ensuring all goods are handled and dispatched correctly
- Promoting and maintaining high health and safety standards
- Training and developing team members
- Continuously looking for ways to improve processes and reduce errors
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience in a Supervision or Team Leader role
- Valid forklift license (Counterbalance)
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Experience with stock control/warehouse systems (Sage preferred)
- Hands-on, flexible approach
- Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills
