Are you a caring, enthusiastic individual who loves supporting children in their learning? Stafflex Education is looking for General Educational Teaching Assistants (ETAs) to work across a range of primary schools in Huddersfield this week. Whether you\’re seeking flexible day-to-day roles or longer-term opportunities, we\’d love to hear from you!
????? About the Role:
As a General ETA, you will:
* ?? Support learning in the classroom – Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
* ?? Work 1:1 or in small groups – Provide targeted support to pupils who need an extra helping hand.
* ?? Promote positive behaviour – Help create a calm, inclusive and productive learning environment.
* ?? Prepare learning resources – Assist with organising materials and setting up activities.
* ?? Support around school – Supervise pupils during break times, lunch, and transitions.
? What You\’ll Need:
* Experience working with children or young people, ideally within education.
* A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
* Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C or equivalent).
* Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
* A flexible, positive, and proactive approach.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
