Are you a dedicated Nursery Nurse looking for flexible supply work in nurturing early years environments? Stafflex Education is currently seeking enthusiastic nursery practitioners to join our team, supporting a range of nurseries and early years settings across Huddersfield.

This role is available to start as soon as possible and is covering maternity leave, making it an ongoing opportunity until at least June, with the potential for extension. About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality care, learning, and play experiences for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment to encourage curiosity and learning.
  • Assist with daily routines including feeding, changing, and nap times.
  • Encourage language, social, and motor skill development through creative play.
  • Work collaboratively with permanent staff and parents to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain safeguarding standards and adhere to nursery policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development milestones.
  • Previous experience in nursery or early years settings.
  • A caring, patient, and nurturing approach.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
