Location: Leeds LS13

Contract: 12 Week Temporary to be with a view to being offered as a Permanent role

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per Week)

Pay: £12.86 p/h (Rising to £27,775 annual salary if offered permanent opportunity)

Stafflex are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Leeds, supplying high-quality technical products to their worldwide client base.

We are looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to join their production team. This role would suit someone with previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment who enjoys working with precision components, assemblies and testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembly, building and testing of small components and finished products
  • Working to engineering drawings, instructions and quality standards
  • Carrying out inspections and highlighting any quality issues
  • Completing job cards and updating systems accurately
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace (5S Standards)
  • Supporting equipment checks, maintenance and calibration
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and process efficiencies
Key Requirements:
  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • Comfortable working with small parts and technical assemblies
  • Ability to follow instruction and meet deadlines
  • Basic IT skills
  • Positive team player with a flexible approach
  • Experience within technical, engineering or material based manufacturing
  • Familiarity with inspections or testing process is beneficial but not essential
  • Familiarity or experience with soldering is beneficial but not essential
