Production Support Operator

Production Support Operator Location: Halifax Duration: Temporary – ongoing, can lead to permanent role. Working Hours: Mon – Fri rotating weekly, 6am -2pm and 12pm – 8pm Hourly rate: £13.50 Stafflex are recruiting a Production Support Operator on behalf of our global industry-leading client. The purpose of the role is to provide the site with an efficient bulk and packed materials receipt, warehousing and despatch service. General Duties: Execute pack off of intermediate or finished products (including setting up the machine and cleaning up after use) Housekeeping: conduct daily checks, which include emptying bins, emptying bunds or any other cleaning required or requested by the team leader Charge raw materials to batches as requested by team leader Shunt material using FLT within productions areas and warehouseEssential competencies include: FLT license (counterbalance) Good attitude to learn and absorb knowledge Initiative to take on jobs (without being told what to do all the time – training will be given) – of course after training. Great communicator and listener to work effectively with the teams – For context the successful person will liaise with 3 different Team leaders per week, rather than always having the same manager Previous experience working with chemicals is advantageousBenefits: Free onsite parking.
