Location: Huddersfield
Hours: 8am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday (40 hours p/w)
Pay: £13.00 p/h (+Bonus £1 p/h production bonus based on targets)
Contract Type: Temporary with a view for a permanent position to be offered after 12 weeks
Stafflex are currently recruiting for a CNC operator to join a well-established, Huddersfield-based manufacturing firm. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous CNC experience, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
This role is primarily focused on operating CNC Mills and CNC Lathes. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on machine operating experience who enjoys working on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities:- Operating CNC Mills/Lathes within a busy production environment
- Loading and unloading materials into the machines
- Starting and monitoring machine cycles
- Ensuring parts are produced to required standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Previous experience operating CNC Mills/CNC Lathes is preferred
- Experience with Fanuc & Okuma machines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
