Stafflex are currently working with a variety of schools and colleges across Kirklees. We are looking for experienced catering staff with a valid and in date Enhanced DBS on the online update service, to work within a school setting. The ideal candidate will be reliable and punctual. This is a great opportunity for people looking for part-time hours or hours to work around school times.

Pay: Ranging from £12.71p/h - £13.00p/h

Hours: Shift requirements vary depending on each specific job. Typical hours are: Early mornings 6am starts up until 8am / 10am. Evenings which are normally end of school hours so 3pm / 4pm - 7pm / 8pm.

Job Type: Temporary and permanent work available.

Duties:

  • Preparing ingredients ready for the chef / cook.
  • Prepping / plating meals.
  • Assisting the cook in charge / chef with any cooking.
  • Maintaining a clean environment at all times in line with Health and Safety.

Requirements:

  • Food and Hygiene at least level 1.
  • All applicants require a valid and in date Enhanced DBS child or ideally adult and child, on the online update service.
  • Previous catering experience is preferred.

It is advantageous to already hold a valid DBS, as the timescales for DBS checks to be returned can vary and are not guaranteed. Roles will be filled in a timely manner, in line with the client's requirements.
