Stafflex Education are recruiting a Teacher & SENCo for a small, developing independent alternative provision for KS2 pupils with SEMH needs. This role combines high-quality teaching with SEND coordination, delivering a trauma-informed, outdoor-focused curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach approx. 3 days per week, delivering relational, experiential lessons integrating outdoor learning.
- Lead SEND provision, ensuring compliance with SEND Code of Practice, EHCPs, ILPs, and multi-agency reviews.
- Support adaptive teaching for SEMH, neurodiversity, and trauma needs.
- Maintain assessment, progress tracking, and documentation to inspection-ready standards.
- Contribute to restorative behaviour support, co-regulation, and relational practice.
- Use 2 protected SENCo/admin days for planning, reviews, and multi-agency coordination.
