About the Role
As a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils one-to-one or in small groups, often working with students with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, or SEMH
Assist in delivering lesson content and encouraging positive behaviour
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Work closely with teachers and SENDCOs to meet individual learning and emotional needsWhy Register with Stafflex Education?

Recent experience supporting secondary-aged pupils, ideally with SEND or SEMH needs
Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in education, childcare, or learning support
Strong behaviour management skills with a calm, empathetic approach
Full CV covering the last 10 years (with gap explanations)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Two professional references (plus overseas police checks if applicable)
Legal right to work in the UK
