SEND Support Worker - Primary Schools (Part-Time, Flexible Work) 🌟

Stafflex Education is currently recruiting SEND Support Workers to work across welcoming and supportive primary schools in Huddersfield and the wider Kirklees area.

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN within primary school settings
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups to support learning, development, and emotional wellbeing
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Support pupils with additional needs, including communication, behavioural, and learning challenges
  • Assist the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support strategies
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement in learning

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN (school-based or similar)
  • A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach
  • Passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
