We are recruiting a Headteacher & Designated Safeguarding Lead for a small, developing independent school for KS2 pupils with SEMH needs. This unique role combines strategic leadership, safeguarding responsibility, and part-time teaching in a trauma-informed, outdoor-focused environment.
Key Points:
- Lead the school, ensuring compliance with Independent School Standards and safeguarding.
- Oversee curriculum, teaching quality, SEND provision, behaviour and wellbeing.
- Teach 3 days/week; 2 days protected for leadership/admin.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families, staff, and local partners.
