To provide a specialised SLT service to the 21 bedded Lanyon Stroke Rehabilitation Unit, working within a dynamic multidisciplinary/inter-disciplinary team. To provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment to adult stroke patients presenting With communication and/or swallowing difficulties. The post holder must be capable of working as an autonomous practitioner, working with patients who may have complex and/or chronic presentations, using evidence based practice. To liaise with the multi-disciplinary team and relevant care professionals and agencies. To support in the provision of on-going training to the MDT and other agencies
