About The Role: This is a busy but well-organised environment where orders are prepared for customers and stores during the winter season. You\βll be part of a friendly team working together to keep operations running smoothly. Key responsibilities: Picking orders β using a handheld scanner to locate items in the warehouse quickly and accurately. Packing products β preparing items for dispatch, ensuring packaging is secure and correct for each order. Processing customer and store orders β making sure each pick matches the order sheet or scan record. Quality checks β checking products for accuracy, presentation and any damage before dispatch. Maintaining standards β keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe, following health & safety guidelines. Teamwork β working with supervisors and colleagues to meet daily and weekly order targets. What to expect day-to-day: You\βll spend most of your shift walking around the warehouse while scanning and picking items. You\βll also be packing items ready for dispatch to customers and stores. The role does not involve heavy lifting, though you should be comfortable with light manual handling. Breaks are built into your shift, with access to free tea and coffee, vending machines, fridges and microwaves. Lockers are available for your personal belongings. Pay, Shifts, Rota & Holiday: You can choose how your holiday pay is handled: Accrued β holiday pay is saved and paid out when you take time off. Rolled-up β holiday pay is included in your weekly wages.
