We’re currently recruiting both newly qualified and experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for a well‑established client based near Rochester. Full training is provided, with immediate starts available.
Role overview
- Start times between 04:00–05:00
- Typically 5–8 deliveries per shift
Key responsibilities
- Work as part of a 2‑person delivery team alongside an experienced driver’s mate
- Ensure safe and professional driving at all times
- Deliver goods directly to customers’ homes
- Handle heavy items as part of the role
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence or higher (maximum 6 points; no DR, DD, IN10 endorsements)
- CPC qualification and Digital Tacho card
- Strong commitment to health & safety procedures
- Willingness to undergo a CRC check, plus drug and alcohol test
Compensation
- Weekday rate: £18.25 per hour + bonus
- Overtime (6th shift): £27.37 per hour
- Quarterly bonus of £1,300
