Class 1 Drivers Location: Avonmouth & Chepstow Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with ASDA at their Supermarket distribution depots in Avonmouth and Chepstow. Work through 2025. Unlike many HGV contracts available at this time of year, our ASDA drivers enjoy work all year round. We are looking for flexible drivers who can work out of either depot if required. Both part time and full time shifts available. HGV 1 Drivers may also be expected to complete some deliveries to smaller stores in a HGV 2 vehicles. *Minimum 6 months experience* Shifts and pay rates as an HGV Class 1 Driver: Average paid shifts are 11-15 hours per day. All breaks are paid!! Pay between 14.00 – 22.00 Basic £16.23 P/H Overtime £21.96 P/H – after 45 hours Pay between 22.00 – 06.00 Basic £18.63 Overtime £24.36 P/H – after 45 hours Pay between 06.00 – 14.00 Basic £14.92 P/H Overtime £20.65 P/H – after 45 hours ALL BREAKS ARE PAID! Shift patterns available: PART TIME/FULL TIME GUARANTEED SHIFTS ON A ROTA 4 or 5 OUT OF 7 Your responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver: . Duties include completing 1-4 deliveries to stores as required. Deliveries can be either caged or palletised. Completing paperwork. Class 1 Driver – About you: HGV 1 C+E licence. Digital tacho & DQC card Minimum 6 months experience No more than 6 points.
