About the Role:
As the EHS Advisor, you will develop, implement, and oversee the company\’s EHS policies, ensuring adherence to all relevant UK legislation. Working independently, you will play a pivotal role in driving compliance, promoting best practices, and supporting operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with UK EHS legislation, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Deliver engaging EHS training programs to employees, fostering a safety-first culture.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement preventative measures.
- Manage waste and emissions control, ensuring adherence to environmental permits.
- Prepare and submit EHS performance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
