Staffing Match is a specialist logistics and driving recruitment agency, connecting professional drivers with some of the UK\’s leading transport operations. We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to support a major client in the TV & Film industry based in Heathrow.
This is a unique opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers to work behind the scenes of the UK\’s leading film and TV productions. You\’ll be responsible for transporting specialist trailers and dressing room units between studios, on-location sets, and secure holding areas. There is no handballing, multi-drop, or manual loading involved, but drivers are expected to assist with light on-site setup (no heavy lifting).
Pay Details (PAYE):
- Monday to Saturday (All Hours): £19.50 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holidays: £23.00 per hour
- Weekly bookings confirmed
- Minimum 8-hour shifts guaranteed
What to Expect:
- Transport production trailers and dressing room units
- No handballing, no multi-drop, no manual loading
- Assist with basic vehicle setup on-site (light duties only)
- Use of PDA and accurate completion of delivery paperwork
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure full legal compliance with driving regulations
- Manage tachograph use and working hours in line with EU laws
- 2 paid shadow shifts provided as part of onboarding
- 5 on, 3 off rota – full-time ongoing work
- Weekly confirmed bookings
Process:
- Attend a face-to-face interview at our Feltham office
- Complete a theory and practical driving assessment
- Undertake 2x paid shadow shifts for onboarding and training
- Once cleared, you\’ll be booked directly onto the live rota
What You\’ll Need:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months\’ HGV 1 experience
- No more than 6 points (NO DR, DD, IN10)
- Previous experience in film/TV logistics is a bonus – not essential
