Staffing Match is proud to be in partnership with our client based in Stanford-le-Hope, offering exciting opportunities for 7.5 tonne / HGV 2 Drivers on a long-term, temp-to-perm basis.
Position Details:
- Shift Start: 07:00 AM until finish
- Rota: 5 days on, 3 days off (rolling)
- Pay: Β£14.50 β Β£17.81 per hour
- Permanent Salary: Circa Β£32,000 + quarterly bonus + benefits
- Annual Leave: 28 days (including bank holidays)
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5t vehicle as part of a 2-man crew (with a driver or mate)
- Deliver goods to customers\β homes, including flats and houses
- Unload and deliver items to the room of choice
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Heavy lifting is required as part of the role
What We\βre Looking For:
- Valid 7.5t Licence (or higher), CPC, and Digi Card
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility to work long days (shift end times can vary)
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check and drug & alcohol test (arranged by us)
- Clean driving record: No more than 6 penalty points and no DR, DD, TT, or IN10 convictions
