Key Responsibilities
- Act as a technical lead for New Product Introduction (NPI), process development, and manufacturing issue resolution.
- Create and manage technical documentation relating to approved manufacturing processes and product builds.
- Define and validate suitable manufacturing processes, tooling, and production equipment.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Investigate technical and manufacturing issues, implementing sustainable corrective actions and long-term solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and support during product manufacturing development activities.
- Apply work study methods to improve manual and operator-driven manufacturing processes.
- Support the Engineering Supervisor with technical guidance and mentoring for engineering team members.
- Support cross-functional engineering and operational activities.
- Ensure manufacturing processes and equipment comply with all relevant legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
- Design and develop jigs and fixtures to improve process quality and productivity.
- Analyse and interpret complex BOM structures and datasets to support issue resolution and process optimisation.
- Maintain strong awareness and application of workplace Health and Safety standards.
