Staffing Innovations are working with a first class manufacturing company in Norwich. We are looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives to join a successful and proactive team, working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday 10pm-6am. However, the successful warehouse operative must be able to cover 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm as and when required.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Operative is responsible for operating a Forklift Truck to move, locate, relocate, stack and count product both inside and outside of our warehouse including loading and unloading lorries, trailers and containers. The Warehouse Operative is also responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and general warehouse maintenance.
In addition, you will be responsible for basic administration duties in relation to vehicle loading/unloading and stock control to include scanning and completing paperwork by hand.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and hold a full valid B1 Counterbalance FLT licence. You must be flexible to cover holidays and work overtime, have a positive attitude, be reliable and can work both independently and as part of a team. You should be proactive, identifying opportunities for improvement, and willing to go the extra mile. We value mutual respect and professionalism. You will be responsible for your own tasks while contributing positively to the team's efforts, consistently acting with integrity and professionalism.
