Staffing Innovations are seeking an experienced Stores Person to manage and maintain the companies stock and inventory operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse and store management, ensuring accurate stock control, timely dispatch, and smooth supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using stock management systems.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Organise and label stock in an orderly manner for easy retrieval.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch goods as per company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the store.
- Liaise with suppliers, delivery personnel, and internal departments to manage stock movements.
- Process stock requisitions and issue materials to relevant departments.
- Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, or other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Keep the store area clean, safe, and organised.
The successful stores person will have:
- Previous experience as a Stores Person or Warehouse Operative.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Knowledge of stock control procedures and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
