The Successful Warehouse Manager will:

  • Oversee and provide hands-on help across all sections of the warehouse to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfilment.
  • Oversee the warehouse cleanliness to maintain strict health & safety, and organisational standards.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations are completed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor works orders and production schedules to ensure priorities are met.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, including stock discrepancies and delays.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline processes.
  • Monitor Microsoft Teams regularly and respond to incoming messages and requests.
  • Serve at the Trade Counter when required.
  • Assist with anything else requested by senior management.

The varied role will involve managing freight contracts and evaluating third-party couriers regularly to guarantee service efficacy, transit speed, and cost-efficiency.

  • Lead weekly production meetings to update staff with company updates and task allocations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and take action to improve performance.
  • Monitor employee breaks to ensure compliance with company policies and operations.
  • Action and officially record disciplinary procedures in line with company policy and HR guidelines.

The successful warehouse manager will have proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role together with experience of managing external vendor relationships (e.g., couriers, waste management companies) and be able to demonstrate experience handling employee relations, including 1-1s and disciplinary actions.

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.
