Forklift Operative North of Norwich
Salary: £28,340 per annum (Hourly rate of £13.61)

Due to expansion, Staffing Innovations is recruiting another forklift driver for an amazing manufacturing company North of Norwich. Up-to-date COUNTERBALANCE Licence is essential. We are seeking an experienced Forklift operative with both Counterbalance & Reach-truck licence for this role.
The role will include supporting production by:
- Operating palletisers and wrappers.
- Unload/load lorries with pallets.
- Put away pallets of stock into pallet racking.
- Pick orders by the pallet or by the case using a computerised system.
- Manually restacking, rebuilding & wrapping pallets may be required.
- All other usual warehouse duties e.g. stock control, stock taking, sweeping/cleaning warehouse, daily forklift checks, etc.
With certificates issued by a nationally recognised accrediting organisation e.g. RTITB, ITSSAR. The successful candidate will be expected to perform all tasks within a typical warehouse / despatch environment, also supporting production needs.
The successful Warehouse and Forklift Operative will have the flexibility to work different weekly 8 hour shift patterns; 6am-2, 2pm-10 & occasional nights 10pm-6am. Having your own transport is essential as you may be required to visit another of the company's warehouses in Norfolk to carry out work.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of driving forklift trucks is essential - with current certificate issued by a recognised authority covering counterbalance truck & Reach Truck.
- Good basic computer skills & understanding of stock control within a warehouse environment.
- Excellent team-working and communication skills.
- Reliable, accurate with high standards and attention to detail.
- Able to demonstrate the highest level of H&S awareness.
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
Shifts: Rotating shift pattern including:
- Earlies 6am – 2pm
- Nights 10pm – 6am (Not regular)
- Lates 2pm – 10pm
The factory runs from 10pm on Sunday to 10pm on Friday.
