We are seeking a skilled Production and Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced FMCG. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working in Production at busy times and safely operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
The successful Production and Warehouse operative will be responsible for operating a Forklift Truck to move, locate, relocate, load, stack and count products within the production and warehouse areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Duties:
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Maintain accurate production records and inspection logs
- Work collaboratively with your team to resolve issues on the line
- Support ongoing improvements in processes, productivity, and output
- Complete goods-in/goods-out documentation accurately
- Load vehicles correctly and manage driver paperwork
- Off-load and correctly store incoming goods
- Ensure all inbound/outbound shipments are accurate, reporting variances
- Act as a point of contact for warehouse enquiries and assist Production with problem-solving
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid, in-date Forklift Licence
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed
- Previous experience in a Warehouse / Goods-in / Goods-out environment
- Experience in loading, unloading, and stock picking
