Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Nights

Salary: £54,000

Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (Night Shifts)

Additional Requirement: 1 Saturday night shift in every 4

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x

Staffing Innovations are working with a first class manufacturer and seeking an experienced multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to support night-shift operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring machinery reliability, reducing downtime, and providing engineering support to production teams during night operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on production equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults to restore equipment performance quickly and safely.
  • Conduct routine inspections, safety checks, and technical adjustments on machinery.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reliability, efficiency, and safety.
  • Record maintenance activities and ensure compliance with engineering and site procedures.
  • Respond effectively to breakdowns, working independently during night shifts.
