The predicted salary is between 31742 - 35400 £ per year.
Salary: £31,742 per year (£28,250 plus a £2,080 attendance bonus per year). Plus an additional 5% bonus on annual salary if KPI’s are met.
The Warehouse Team Leader is an important role within the clients’ business in assisting the Warehouse Manager in leading the Warehouse team for the pick, pack and ship operations for all channels of the business. Successful candidates are required to be highly professional, efficient, well-organised and a clear leader, whilst personable with the Warehouse team and all key contacts, internally and externally.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours over 5 days. Shift patterns to operate in peak periods, including Saturday working on a rota system. Additional hours as required to meet the needs of the business. Tuesday to Saturday Shift (06:00 - 14:00 weekdays and 09:00 - 17:00 Saturday). 6-month probation.
This exciting position will involve the following:
- Assisting with overseeing the pick, pack, goods in, returns and ship operations for all channels of the business, ensuring prioritisation and delegation as required.
- Maintaining at all times the highest of Health & Safety standards (and related documentation) in the Warehouse in line with company requirements and HSE guidelines, including flagging any Health & Safety concerns to Warehouse Management immediately.
- Completing daily H&S walks and conducting monthly health and safety meetings.
- Conducting inspections on all equipment ensuring it’s in safe working order.
- Acting as a point of escalation, dealing with any complaints/issues and escalating to warehouse management if needed.
- Liaising with couriers to arrange collections.
- Completing manual returns on stock management system.
- Reconciling goods in.
- Assisting with the management of unpacking, sorting and storage of all incoming stock from suppliers.
- Ensuring the quality of the dispatch process is to the standards expected by the company and customer.
- Assisting with the management of stock in the Warehouse, ensuring stock accuracy.
- Daily allocation of staff to departments.
- Working closely with the Warehouse Management and the B2B department to ensure all orders are dispatched in line with requirements and within the given timeframe.
- Assisting with the management of the Warehouse team to ensure the Warehouse meets the requirements of the business, including overseeing the productivity, performance, training and personal development of each individual.
- Assisting the Warehouse management team to ensure the correct amount and quality of dispatch materials are available for the planned business activities, including timely ordering, storage and rotation.
