Staffing Innovations is seeking an experienced Stores Person to manage and maintain stock and inventory operations with efficiency and accuracy. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in warehouse and store management who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate stock control, timely dispatch, and smooth supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using stock management systems.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to verify inventory levels.
- Organise and label stock for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch goods according to company procedures.
- Ensure store operations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with suppliers, delivery personnel, and internal departments to manage stock movement.
- Process stock requisitions and issue materials as needed.
- Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, or other warehouse equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised store environment.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience as a Stores Person or Warehouse Operative.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Strong knowledge of stock control procedures and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Understanding of warehouse health and safety regulations.
Preferred
- Forklift license (preferred but not essential).
