Female Residential Support Worker – Young People Location: Ealing, West London Employment Type: Full-time Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: £26,668.20 per annum Qualified Salary: £29,182.92 per annum for candidates holding a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare / Young People and Children's Residential Care Sleep-In Allowance: £75 per sleep-in About the Role We are looking for caring, reliable and motivated Residential Support Workers to join a residential service supporting young people in Ealing. You will play an important role in providing day-to-day care, guidance and emotional support to young people, helping them feel safe, valued and supported while encouraging their personal development and independence. The role involves working a combination of day shifts and sleep-in shifts , including supporting young people with their daily routines and responding appropriately to their individual needs. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality care, support and supervision to young people within the residential setting. Build positive, professional and trusting relationships with young people. Support young people with their daily routines, personal development and independence. Provide emotional and practical support in line with each young person's individual needs. Encourage positive behaviour and help young people develop appropriate life skills. Maintain a safe, welcoming and supportive environment. Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns appropriately. Maintain accurate records, reports and daily logs. Work effectively with colleagues, families and other professionals involved in the young person's care. Support young people to engage in education, activities and the wider community. Participate in staff meetings, training and supervision. Undertake sleep-in duties as required. About You We are looking for candidates who are: Caring, compassionate and patient.
