Having secured significant funding and established close relationships with industry leaders including OpenAI and Anthropic, the company is entering a critical phase of scale and product expansion. They are now looking for an exceptional Lead Product Engineer to help drive the next chapter of their journey.

The Opportunity

As a Lead Product Engineer, you'll sit at the heart of the business, working across Product, Design, and Engineering to transform ideas into high-quality customer-facing features. You'll own projects from concept through to production, making key technical decisions, shaping user experiences, and helping establish the foundations needed for rapid growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and enjoys combining technical excellence with strong product intuition.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Owning product features end-to-end, from discovery and planning through to deployment and optimisation
  • Collaborating closely with Product and Design teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences
  • Building scalable, production-ready applications used by a growing customer base
  • Driving engineering best practices around code quality, testing, maintainability, and performance
  • Leading technical initiatives and influencing product direction
  • Mentoring and supporting engineers while creating momentum across projects
  • Making pragmatic architectural decisions that balance speed, scalability, and long-term success
  • Using customer feedback and product data to continuously improve the user experience

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience within product-focused technology businesses
  • Strong commercial experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
  • Proven experience owning projects from idea through to production release
  • Excellent product judgment and a genuine passion for building great user experiences
  • Experience working in fast-moving, high-growth startup environments
  • Previous experience in a business scaling from Seed → Series A or Series A → Series B funding
  • A track record of contributing to products that have experienced significant growth in users, revenue, or scale
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical and product decisions
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments where priorities evolve quickly
