Are you an experienced Chef de Partie looking for an opportunity to explore your creative flair? Are you looking for flexibility and to be in control of your own working schedule? Stafffinders are currently on the search for temporary Chef de Parties to work in a variety of well-established venues across Edinburgh and the surrounding area, including hotels, restaurants, care homes, educational institutes, canteens, contract caterers and more!
These are temporary positions, paid on a weekly basis with holiday pay accrued on top. There are various, flexible shifts available, including weekdays and weekends, working in various venues across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. You have the freedom to select where you work, and the security of having no minimum commitment, so you can work as and when it suits you.
Responsibilities in your new role:
- Cooking a wide range of dishes for a variety of clients
- Preparing and cooking meals for different events
- Knowledge of allergies/dietary requirements
- Maintaining good hygiene practices at all times
Your personality, experience, and qualifications:
We are eager to speak to experienced chefs, especially those who have a proven track record of working within a high-volume, busy kitchen environment. You will have sound knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements, as well as knowledge of health and safety procedures. You should have a strong ability to work as part of a team and independently. As an individual, you should have excellent attention to detail, possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude and be able to meet targets in a highly demanding environment.
