We\’re on the lookout for an ambitious Sewing Machinist to become an integral part of our client\’s textile factory in East Ayrshire. If you\’re passionate about fabrics and ready to bring your enthusiasm to this role, this opportunity is tailor-made for you!

You can expect an annual salary of £25,397 per annum. The shift pattern for this position entails working from 06:45 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday meaning you get a long weekend every week!
Responsibilities in your new role as Sewing Machinist
Your primary responsibility will be stitching cotton materials according to specifications. Additionally, you will be expected to assist with various make-up tasks, including cutting, inspecting, folding, and pressing, to ensure the final product meets quality standards. Flexibility and attention to detail are essential, as you may be required to support different stages of the production process as needed.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
The ideal applicant should have prior experience in a similar sewing or stitching role, demonstrating proficiency in working with fabric and garment construction.
