We’re recruiting for a passionate and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join a growing travel business specialising in bespoke UK and Ireland travel experiences. Your responsibilities within your new role as a Travel Consultant:

As a Travel Consultant, you’ll play a key role in creating bespoke holidays tailored to each customer’s individual needs and interests. You’ll manage the full customer journey, from initial enquiry through to final travel arrangements, ensuring every itinerary is carefully planned and delivered to a high standard.

  • Build tailored travel itineraries across the UK and Ireland
  • Coordinate accommodation, activities, and transport arrangements
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and trusted local partners
  • Provide outstanding customer service throughout the booking process
  • Ensure all bookings and travel documentation are accurate and organised
  • Support customers before and during travel where required
  • Participate in the customer duty rota once fully trained and experienced

Your personality, experience and qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience within travel sales
  • A genuine passion for travel and customer experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong written communication and numeracy skills
  • Confidence using multiple computer systems and booking platforms
  • The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong knowledge of Scottish geography, with knowledge of England, Wales and Ireland being advantageous
