Responsibilities in your new role as Assistant Restaurant Manager:

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering an exceptional guest experience, responding promptly and appropriately to all guest needs and questions. You will effectively manage your own workload and that of your direct reports, ensuring performance expectations are consistently met. A key part of your role will involve assisting guests with menu choices, demonstrating a clear understanding of how these selections impact profitability and productivity. You will be responsible for managing and upholding all brand standards, leading by example and empowering your team to do the same. Communicating and administering the Food & Beverage strategy to all internal parties will be crucial, alongside managing the yield of inventories in accordance with budget guidelines. Furthermore, you will provide essential support and assistance to the Food & Beverage Services Manager wherever required, contributing to the overall success of the operation.

Your personality, experience and qualifications:

To thrive in this Assistant Restaurant Manager role within the vibrant hospitality industry, previous experience in a supervisory capacity is absolutely essential. You will possess a comprehensive knowledge of all Food & Beverage standards, encompassing quality of presentation, service, and products. Familiarity with local Food Hygiene and sanitation standards is also crucial. We are looking for an individual with the ability to prepare and analyse data, figures, and transcriptions generated by computer systems. Your adaptability will be key; you must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without losing efficiency or composure.
