As a Chef, you\'ll be working in a role that truly matters, delivering nutritious meals in care home settings across Glasgow and surrounding areas.
This temporary position provides a competitive pay rate of £16-£17 per hour. Youll receive weekly payments, with holiday pay also being accrued. As a temporary worker, you have the flexibility to pick shifts that suit you, with no minimum commitment required. Responsibilities within your new role as a ChefIn your role, you will assist the chef with food preparation, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, and ensure food safety is always a priority. You will also work closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Your experience, qualifications and personalityWere looking for candidates who have significant experience as a chef or Cook in a similar care or educational setting.A valid PVG or Discolsure is required, which you should currently hold or be willing to obtain. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are key attributes. You will be passionate about service excellence, committed to cleanliness and hygiene, and capable of managing tasks efficiently even in high-pressure situations.
