We're looking for an experienced Haulage Coordinator to join a well-established family business in Glasgow. In this permanent role, you'll use data and market insights to optimise transport operations, improve profitability, and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities in your new role as a Haulage Coordinator
As a Haulage Coordinator, you'll use data to support the ongoing performance and efficiency of the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Optimising transport routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Work closely with hauliers to identify backhaul opportunities
- Monitor haulage rates and analyse UK transport market trends
- Maintain and update transport pricing and cost models
- Create reports and provide insights to support business decisions
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking for a commercially aware and analytical professional with experience in a data, pricing, operations or logistics role. You will ideally have a background in manufacturing, production or haulage.
You will have:
- Previous experience in an analytical or commercially focused position
- Strong numerical and data analysis skills
- Experience monitoring and reporting on KPIs
- Ability to identify trends and turn data into actionable insights
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Confidence presenting information to different stakeholders
