Are you a seasoned Estate Manager with a passion for the great outdoors and a knack for leading teams? We have an extraordinary opportunity for you! Our client is seeking a dedicated Estate Manager to take charge of an extensive site in Perthshire. This is a permanent role where you can make a real impact, bringing your expertise to a unique and rewarding environment.

What you will get in your new role:

  • A competitive salary of Β£34,000 per annum
  • A stable working week of 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • Some weekend work, overtime, or on-call duties may be required to ensure the smooth operation of the site
  • The added benefit of accommodation provided – a comfortable static caravan suitable for one person

Responsibilities in your new role as an Estate Manager:

  • Leading and supervising the grounds maintenance team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site
  • Planning and carrying out landscape maintenance programmes, including mowing, strimming and weeding
  • Safely operating, maintaining and overseeing the use of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment
  • Conducting routine inspections to identify maintenance issues and areas requiring repair
  • Liaising with the Park Manager and external contractors to coordinate maintenance work
  • Ensuring full compliance with health and safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Managing the inventory of tools, equipment and maintenance materials
  • Scheduling and prioritising regular maintenance tasks to maximise efficiency
  • Maintaining the grounds to the highest standards of appearance, cleanliness and safety
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of the site's outdoor spaces and overall presentation

Your personality, experience and qualifications:

  • You will have proven experience in landscaping maintenance, grounds repairs and team supervision.
  • You will also bring previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations relating to outdoor maintenance.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with a good command of English.
  • Passionate about maintaining high standards across outdoor environments.
