Your responsibilities as a Corporate Tax Manager:
- You will be the primary day‑to‑day contact for a wide‑ranging portfolio of clients and be responsible for building and maintaining trusted relationships with them.
- You will manage the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects for clients, ensuring technical excellence and a practical and business‑driven approach is taken.
- You will proactively undertake business development to help add value to existing clients and develop opportunities to add value to new clients.
- In line with the firm's people culture, you will contribute to people initiatives, including retaining and training team members and the development of junior team members through effective supervision, coaching and mentoring.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate must have strong corporate tax technical skills supported by a qualification such as ACA, CA, CTA, Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course, law qualification or tax specialist qualification, or a breadth of knowledge equivalent to a tax specialist qualification.
- This is a client‑facing role, so you must have a proven track record of identifying and converting opportunities to generate new work through business development.
- Ideally, you’ll also be able to problem‑solve creatively and pragmatically, recognizing both the tax technical and commercial implications of advice given.
- You should also have experience in project management, with the ability to plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines, and monitor budgets.
