Test Technician

As a Test Technician, you will join a leading material testing company, renowned for having the largest independent Mechanical Testing facility in Europe. Our client prides itself on delivering innovative solutions and unmatched materials testing capabilities across Automotive, Motorsport, and Aerospace industries.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct various material testing procedures, including High Cycle Fatigue, Low Cycle Fatigue, Fracture Toughness, Crack Propagation, Creep and Stress Rupture, and Tensile Testing.
• Perform Chemical Analysis testing, Corrosion testing, and Metallurgical testing using state-of-the-art equipment.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to deliver high-quality results to a global customer base.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
• Start with basic testing and progress to more complex procedures as your experience grows.

Qualifications:

• Previous laboratory experience or relevant education is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Proven attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety protocols is a plus.

Starting Salary: £27. 500 per year
Hours: rotating shift; morning 6am -2pm; afternoon 1.30pm- 10pm
Length: Perm position
