We are currently recruiting for a Truss Fabricator / Factory Operative to join our client's busy manufacturing team. As a Truss Fabricator / Factory Operative, you will be responsible for manufacturing timber roof trusses within a production environment, working as part of a skilled and supportive team to meet production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
The Role
- Fabricating and assembling timber roof trusses to specification
- Operating production machinery and hand tools safely
- Reading and following production drawings
- Conducting quality checks on finished products
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Assisting with general manufacturing duties as required
Location
This Truss Fabricator / Factory Operative position is based in Enstone, Oxfordshire, and is easily accessible from Chipping Norton, Woodstock, Kidlington, Witney, Banbury and surrounding areas.
Hours & Pay
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm
39.5 hours per week
£12.71 per hour
About You
- Previous manufacturing, factory, construction or woodworking experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Good practical skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
